Don’t we all wish there was one. … a simple formula that, when implemented properly, lead to wave after wave of satisfying orgasm.
With the launch of the website OMGYES.com, we may be one step closer. Working with the Kinsey Institute, 1,000 woman were interviewed on the how they reach orgasms. The results have been compiled and the good people at OMGYES have now launched website committed to helping improve the female orgasm – a laudable goal if ever there was one.
Some of the more interesting findings from the study:
- 65% of women achieve more intense orgasms by repeatedly bringing themselves close to orgasm but then easy off as they are about to climax (edging)
- 80% of women reporting being able to achieve orgasm by using a ‘well-timed almost musical loop of motion’; related to this, 65% of women achieve orgasm best through a consistent, almost identical approach
- half of women (50%) have managed to overcome the sensitivity associated with post-orgasm and ramp back up for a second (or more) climax
And perhaps the least surprising factoid… a full 90% of women report that the ability to reach orgasm is more ‘between their ears’ than ‘between their legs’.
So, of course, there is no recipe for the female orgasm. But this is the most comprehensive package of information assembled on what gives women physical sexual pleasure and help them orgasm. It is a huge undertaking and full of useful information both women and the men (and women) who love them should become acquainted with.
One small step for women… one giant leap for womenkind.
