First milestone achieved! I just finished my first 3 week block of P90X3.
The first 3 weeks went very well, although it has taken me closer to 4 weeks to complete it, as I have been fitting in regular rock climbing and, rather than skip X3 workouts, I have just interspersed rock climbing and delayed by a day the X3 workout I was supposed to do.
– definitely looking and feeling stronger and tighter; most of the moves are feeling easier than they did when I started, although I am not seeing quite as much progress on pull-ups as I think I need to really crush phase 2
– rock climbing results are improving… which is great since the first competition of the year is only 4 weeks away
– no weight loss, which seems to be normal for me during the first block of a P90 program, but kind of sucks for my rock climbing aspirations; I really need to be 5-10 pounds lighter to make some of the overhang climbs I need to make.
So.. onward to block 2
