– Physically, I am feeling stronger than I have in well over a year. When I started I was able to do 5 pull-ups unassisted; I am now up to at least 12. Similarly, I am going more pushups and easier balance moves that I have in ages. The results have translated well into other activities and my rock climbing is definitely improving; I sended (as the kids say) a 5.9 and hungdog a 5.10-; both things I had not been able to do two months ago. I am finding that my cardio has suffered a bit – I went skate skiing last weekend and it was really, really hard.
– Appearance-wise, my chest, arms and core are definitely looking more defined and toned. My wife (who is brutally honest about this stuff) said she is definitely seeing a difference. So, that’s great.
– In terms of enjoying the program, I am still really, really liking it. I didn’t think I would like the 30 minute length, but I have really come to like that.
So…onward to Block 3.
